Zundapp was a large scale motorcycle manufacturer in Nuremberg Germany between 1917 and 1984. Production of the K-series began in 1933 and had engine sizes from 200cc all the way up to 800cc. The "K" refers to the type of drivetrain that these models used, Kardanantrieb, meaning enclosed driveshaft with 2 universal joints. This bike was purchased from a museum in Nuremberg Germany approximately 24 years ago (1990), and brought to the USA. Since then, the owner has kept the bike in a private collection of German artifacts. Please note this motorcycle was purchased with a mismatched frame/motor, see below, from the above mentioned museum.
